INTRODUCTION

Endeva Medical recognize the importance of ensuring that our customers have every opportunity to access relevant training for our full suite of clinical products. We are committed to the provision of training and development opportunities that are in support of service needs and meet responsibilities for the provision of mandatory and statutory training.

All clinical staff employed by our customers are required to attend mandatory and statutory training that is relevant to their role and to ensure they meet their own continuous professional development.

All registered Healthcare Professionals caring for patients using our medical devices must be deemed competent to apply, monitor and evaluate the therapy. It is essential that every Registered Healthcare Professional caring for patients receiving therapy through our medical devices completes the competencies that we set out to ensure that the therapy is delivered safely by knowledgeable and experienced professionals.

IN-SERVICE TRAINING

At Endeva Medical, we believe in the importance of in-service training and education. Due to majority of in-service training and education being the proper use of medical devices, the best modality of training and education is by demonstrating usage. This training is actually performed where the device is used and may be done for one or several clinical learners.

EMERGING TECHNOLOGIES AND THE IMPLICATIONS FOR HEALTHCARE TRAINING

Endeva Medical educators continue to incorporate new and more efficient education techniques to keep clinical education in consonance with the changes occurring in the industry.

We leverage the power of interactive video conferencing as a useful and cost-effective way to bridge the gap between industry and academia. The roles and responsibilities of Healthcare professionals are undergoing major changes that must be reflected in the way that future professionals are being trained. The internet with its vast array of resources, can be used effectively by our internal faculty to bring industry closer to the students. Students can use interactive video conferencing to examine and to analyse products from manufacturers and distributors of clinical equipment.
